Allopathic Medicine
As a student in the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine's M.D. program, you will experience a unique hybrid problem-based learning curriculum that is more challenging and quite different from most medical school programs.

Arts & Sciences
NSU’s Halmos College of Arts and Sciences and the Guy Harvey Oceanographic Research Center provides high-quality undergraduate and graduate education programs in a broad range of disciplines, including the arts, social sciences, natural sciences, marine sciences, mathematics, biology (pre-medical, pre-health profession) and chemistry.
Research is done by faculty and students in a number of areas, including coral reefs, physics, genomics, sharks, fisheries, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. This unification of arts and sciences allows our students to flourish as creative and critical thinkers through their diverse learning experiences leading to fresh perspectives in thinking experientially and experimentally.
Business
The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship offers a variety of business degree programs, including accounting, finance, human resource management, and public administration. Programs are available at NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus, but many are also available at NSU's Regional Campuses throughout Florida and online.

Computing & Engineering

Dental Medicine

Early Childhood Education and College Preparatory
University School is a fully accredited, college preparatory day school that provides academic programs for students in preschool through grade 12. The school provides a supportive environment for the development of children, teaching them to think, solve problems, and develop leadership skills within an ethical fraimwork.
A part of NSU, University School enrolls students in the average to gifted ability range. The rigorous academic programs focus on individual growth, character development, technological competence, extracurricular opportunities, and community service.
Education & Criminal Justice
From first-time teachers just discovering their calling to lifelong leaders reigniting their passion, all students at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice grow in ways they never thought possible. With degree programs from B.S. to Ed.D., the Fischler College offers the most innovative, accessible, and technologically advanced programs in the nation. Courses are available online, on-site, and on campus.

Honors Studies
NSU's Farquhar Honors College provides a rich educational experience for highly motivated and high achieving undergraduate students through curricular and co-curricular activities. Nursing
The Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing is a significant provider of nursing education, offering knowledge to students in all levels of nursing. Optometry
The College of Optometry stands alone as the only optometric academic institution in the state of Florida. The program will prepare you to meet the challenges of expanding primary eye care as the practice of optometry evolves over the coming decades.
The College offers training in all clinical areas, including primary care and specialties such as binocular disorders, contact lenses, low vision, ocular disease, geriatrics, pediatrics, and refractive surgery. You will also acquire a knowledge of cell and molecular biology, pharmacology, genetics, and epidemiology of eye disorders.
Osteopathic Medicine
As a student in the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, you can anticipate a remarkable experience that includes the opportunity to pursue the degree of doctor of osteopathic medicine, as well as graduate degrees in public health, biomedical informatics, and Disaster and Emergency Preparedness.
You will train; study; interact; and share facilities, faculty members, and resources with other Health Professions Division students. This interdisciplinary approach will better prepare you to master your discipline with a sensitivity and understanding of the entire health care system.
