About Payroll
The NSU Payroll office oversees preparation of the university's bi-weekly payroll for all employees. Using federal, state and other laws and regulations, the Payroll Department performs the following functions:
- Processes timely and accurate payments to all employees
- Withholds and submits all federal and state taxes, garnishments and child support payment
- Enters all timesheets and special payments
- Handles all non-Resident Alien taxing for employees
- Handles all processing for taxable tuition waivers
- Processes and transmits all direct deposits for employees
