Our ambitious £200m Exponential Potential campaign aims to grow the Rhodes Scholarships around the world, and to support the people, programmes, and place that will unleash its global potential.

Creating Scholarships

With your leadership, we will amplify the reach of the Rhodes Scholarship and make it a truly global and inclusive opportunity. Key areas of focus include growing Scholarships in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as increasing our Global Scholarships which are open to all who do not live or attend school in an existing constituency.

The Scholar Experience

At the heart of our Exponential Potential Campaign are our Scholars in Residence, who join us in Oxford for 2-4 years to learn together and gain the skills that they will need on their journey to fight the world’s fight. With your support, we will continue to expand our world-class Scholar in Residence programming to enhance the Scholar experience, as well as build the infrastructure necessary to ensure that financial barriers do not prohibit Scholars’ ability to make the most of their time in Oxford. We will remain, as we have been for 121 years, the most preeminent graduate scholarship programme in the world.

Place & Programmes

We have reimagined Rhodes House as a world-class convening centre, with the capacity to bring people together in person and in new ways in a virtual world. This remarkable space is now a place for Scholars, alumni, and members of our partner communities to meet, alongside an amazing range of people from the Oxford community and the wider world. With your support, we aim to increase programmatic opportunities where leaders, innovators, and change-makers can come together to tackle some of the world’s most significant issues.

Exponential Strength

The Exponential Potential campaign funds additional Rhodes Scholarships for graduate study at Oxford and lifelong connection for Scholars from around the globe-leaders, innovators, and change-makers whose voices need to be heard. Only together, as unlikeminded but like-hearted people, can we lift the world out of the ruts that have held us back. Rhodes Scholars lead us all in fighting the world's fight.
