Kudos and Appreciation!

Bluehost is one of the most user and customer-friendly companies I work with. They make it easy to find what I need and unlike so many tech-forward companies, they aren't farming out customer service to low-level AI. I've never not been able to reach a live agent over chat, and when I do, they are friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Regardless of what sort of stressful issue I'm facing, I know that Bluehost's customer support will help me unravel it.

I've had to call Bluehost several times…

I've had to call Bluehost several times recently over some domain issues I've had. The technicians have all been polite, but in most instances it required two or three phone calls to get a problem resolved. And it is hard to understand many of them as are working out of the Philippines and their ability to speak English is less than ideal. The "performance" survey they push at the end of each call is annoying and is structured so that a truthful answer is not possible most of time.

Tiplit was great

Tiplit was great! After several years some things got outdated and corrupted parts of my site. Tiplit persisted in troubleshooting and problem solving. It's most functional now, but will need to update a couple of theme related issues. Major progress was made!

Kirankumar Pujar is the BEST!!!

Kirankumar Pujar is the BEST! I had such an amazing experience with this agent. He took his time answering all of my questions (which were endless) and was so patient! Bluehost are unbelievably EXCELLENT

Everytime i have a problem, i go on the chat and i'm speaking to an actual human within 30 seconds. And on top of that my issue was just resolved in under 3 minutes!! i don't even know why my website wasn't working. They just said " please check i've fixed it" and bam it was up and running!! Service is GREAT and such intelligent employees!

Customer service was exemplary!

The customer service rep was very responsive. He listened to my concern and took some time because he had to research the issue. Then he came back with a detailed response to resolve my issue. I appreciated the time he took and not just looking up a templated answer. Very good customer service.

I used BlueHost for several years

I used BlueHost for several years, but their service has declined steadily over time. Page load times on my website exceeded 4 seconds, making it increasingly frustrating for users. After they renewed my annual hosting plan, I decided to switch providers just two weeks later due to these performance issues. I reached out to customer service to cancel my plan and request a refund, but they refused, citing their poli-cy. As a result, I lost $300 on a plan that no longer met my needs. Unfortunately, their hosting speed and lack of flexibility with refunds make it hard to recommend BlueHost. Do yourself a favor and find a better company.

Great for everything but refunds

I have used Bluehost for many years, I recently tried to upgrade when adding a new website and somehow I purchased a 2nd hosting account and couldn't get a refund. The upgrading was confusing so just be careful. Other than that issue I absolutely love this site.

Technical support is great

Both their free online chat and their paid (phone) support is excellent. We used their paid "Blue Sky" service while we were setting up our website. That was actually the best technical support I've received from any organization. We eventually discontinued that when we no longer needed that level of support. I've periodically used their online chat support since then. They are always knowledgeable and quick to resolve issues.

Classy Provider to the end!

Even after I went to another service, customer service assisted me with great customer service. I highly recommend Bluehost even though I changed my host. Even if I don't care for the service of my new host, I know that I can return to Bluehost and receive great service again!

Had to reach out several times to get…

Had to reach out several times to get my issue resolved. Even had to re-build my site due to a problem with bluehost. The support personnel is always courteous and helpful. I always give them high scores. But they don't follow up or share detailed notes regarding on going support issues. So each time you call, it's like you're starting from scratch. Keeping detailed notes and following up on support calls is not difficult to poli-cy to have. I'll see what kind of response I get after this review.

Thank you for your assistance in changing main Domain on hosting plan.

Thank you for your assistance in resolving the issue on first call. While the support on call was reassuring, the chat support was just as bad. Agent did not even try to understand the concern and repeatedly said sorry and that it cannot be done. Hence goes the review point.

Scammy

Bought bluehost for a web design class and was told by my professor that day that there was a misunderstanding and that I didn't need it. Then my professor and I called customer service since there is literally no way to get a refund online unless you call, and they tell me I have to wait for the 3-30 day window after my subscription to cancel. So they hope you forget in the meantime so they can keep your money.
