Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. For the information to be of best use to us, please submit your report as soon as possible after a severe weather event. Please limit your submissions to events in which you have witnessed. Always include the time the event happened and the location.

Tornado, waterspout, or funnel cloud: Give as much detail as possible regarding your location and how far away and in what direction you observed the feature.

Wind Damage: Any structural damage, downed trees, downed power lines, etc.

Hail: Specify the size, location, and time of occurrence.

Flooding: Report any flooding of roads, homes, or businesses.

Heavy Rain: Rain reports are always welcome, including storm totals. Rain totals of more than 3" in a hour are also helpful.
