Bia̍t-choa̍t
Bia̍t-choa̍t (Eng-gí: extinction), ia̍h-sī choa̍t-bia̍t, sī kóng chi̍t lūi seng-bu̍t ê siau-sit; nā chi̍t chéng seng-bu̍t î-it chûn-oa̍h ê kò-thé sí-bông, tio̍h sī chi̍t chéng seng-bu̍t bia̍t-choa̍t ê sî-chūn. In-ūi beh oân-choân koan-chhat chi̍t khoán seng-bu̍t ê chûn-chāi ū khùn-lân, it-poaⁿ bia̍t-choa̍t ê jīn-tēng sī óa-khò thui-chhek.
Bia̍t-choa̍t it-poaⁿ koan-hē tio̍h nn̄g khoán kòe-têng, chi it sī chi̍t chéng seng-bu̍t in kò-thé-kûn tōa-sió (kò-thé sò͘-liōng) ê kián sió; koh-lâi sī chéng lāi ûi-thoân to-iūⁿ-sèng ê kàng-kē. Chē nn̄g hāng kòe-têng mā ū hō͘-siōng ê koan-hē.[1]
