Center Projects | Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health

CENTER PROJECTS

Agricultural workers experience high rates of fatal and nonfatal occupational injury and illness when compared to other employed groups. As the region’s most well-established agricultural health and safety resource, Great Plains Center activities are highly relevant to agricultural workers, health department officials, community organizations, public health scientists, physicians, and researchers committed to protecting the health and safety of all persons engaged in agricultural work. Center projects are designed to investigate health and safety hazards to agricultural workers throughout the Great Plains region. The current three center projects illustrate the diversity of interests and expertise.
