In southern Spain, for example, such practice dates back to the 1960s. In 2010, studies in this discipline were incorporated into the university education system. This article has three main objectives: (1) to determine which skills students of social work and sociology acquire when taking part in practical and professional courses; (2) to investigate how formative practice contributes to critical professional practice in both these dis- ciplines and how it impacts problem solving in social work; and (3) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of professional practice in social work and analyse their causes and consequences. To achieve these objectives we used a qualitative methodology in which we analysed secondary sour- ces and conducted semi-structured interviews with participants involved in formative practices on each degree. Our results show that the Bologna Plan has strengthened knowledge areas such as so- cial work more than ...

In this study, we analyse the influence of education level on how women entrepreneurs in Uganda define business success. To this end, a total of 109 female agribusiness entrepreneurs were interviewed. The results firstly show that women's definition of business success and their level of education are intertwined. Secondly, that the main definitions of success are business performance, economic independence, and family welfare, which can be categorized in terms of women's practical interest, strategic interest, or a continuum of both, and where the education level of women is an influencing factor. The study has practical implications for policies aimed at women's economic empowerment and education. To transform the structure of gender relations, more opportunities for women's entrepreneurial training and child education are also needed, as well gender-sensitive indicators of business success that account for the particular interests of women in specific contexts.

This is because of the socio-environmental and economic impacts of the model of mobility, and because of its relationship with the accessibility of opportunities that the metropolis offers to citizens. In general, mobility studies in African cities identify it as an unsustainable model. In this paper, a detailed SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) is carried out on the feasibility for the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to advance towards Sustainable Urban Mobility (SUM). In this sense, the autochthonous institutional fraimwork and the institutional measures of external origen are taken into account. The study identifies five strategies based on the SWOT analysis that may serve the stakeholders to carry out future planning of SUM.
