god i adore this game! i was here very early (you guys only had the prologue released!) but i've recently found you again and i was absolutely over the MOON to see the sheer amount of progress made. you at steamberry have made, in my humble opinion, one of the very best VNs available to the general public. truly. i mean, the worldbuilding and lore? the generally accurate (from what i can tell) physics? it blows my mind in the best possible way. i am on the edge of my seat for episode 3's release--i have full faith that i will continue to be blown away.

just played heron's route and good god was i reminded of how much i adore the childhood-friends-to-lovers trope.

i didn't have the vocabulary to say it earlier (it was almost 4 am when i commented!) but not only was this incredibly well-written, it was a beautiful study of the human psyche. the way you captured emotion, speech, and mannerisms was vibrant and dynamic, and i could truly understand and empathise with what the characters were feeling. this IF was a gorgeous, well-made labour of love, and i don't think it's too much of a reach to call it a bit of a journal in itself. thank you so much for sharing such a masterful story.

edit: i feel that i should clarify my thoughts on this. while i can see where croi is coming from, as a victim myself, i also think that because this is a wip, of course things will be imperfect. i personally found no huge issues with the pacing, only that we don't currently have a chance to expand upon this entire experience in project hadea. perhaps that's coming up in the future? anyways, i'm very sorry for sparking a debate by replying to an old comment.

nyehilism, i love this wip. it's intense and dark and tumultuous, and that's shown perfectly in rohan's character. was it cool of him to perform very unlawful and improper surgery on us while drunk/post-sex? no. does it make him a very interesting character with motives that i want to learn more about? absolutely. i look forward to future updates! ^^

accomplishments.

erm. hi. it’s been a while, i know. i skipped last month’s update, so i’ll give you a lengthy one for march. truth be told, i haven’t been able to touch when twilight strikes for a while. this is not because i don’t want to, but mostly because i’ve been busy with school and/or have been struggling with writer’s block. because of this, i made the decision to scrap what i had written for chapter eleven and start (kinda) from scratch. now, before you go and panic, let me explain.

the reason i’ve been taking so long on this chapter is that, well, i screwed up. i found a (rather large) plot hole that i’ve been trying to fix, and the solution i came up with was, uh, interesting. definitely not my greatest idea. but because i had already written so much, i kept pushing forward, hoping that things would straighten out and i’d miraculously like the chapter by the time i finished. haha, very funny. as you can tell, that didn’t end up happening. i didn’t particularly hate what i wrote, i could just tell that it was absolute bullshit. and while sometimes that works, it just was not doing it for me here. so i cut it.

i was able, however, to save a bunch of it for the new draft, so i didn’t completely start over, but i am definitely down a lot of words compared to what i had written initially. i’m not super bummed out about it, but i am upset that that means i’m again behind on getting this out to you. i know it’s been a while since i’ve published any updates and hearing that i’ve pushed things back is probably not very fun, but i promise, now that i’ve got my plot hole sorted out, things are going much smoother.

i’m currently in the thick of final exams so i haven’t been able to write as much as i’ve wanted to lately, but the good news is that i’m graduating (WOOOOO!) so i won’t have any more school work to distract me anymore. once mid-april hits, i’m free everybody.

(on that note, thank you for being so patient and sticking by me. i see new fans joining every day and it warms my heart that so many of you continue to enjoy this story. i appreciate you so much more than you know).

hey! i'm having an issue: whenever i reach the choice of looking for hazel or waiting, no matter which i pick, my game just... stops. for example, when i choose to look for hazel, no text appears after "if she fell, who would know?"

i don't know if i've done something wrong, or if renpy has just decided to reject my computer... i think this game looks fantastic and i'd really like to play it through. i play on a windows surface; if anyone knows what the issue is, please let me know!
