Testosteron (-onis, m.; sicut hormon)[1] vel testosteronum in maribus est naturalis et principalis hormon sexualis et steroides anabolica,[2] quae in textibus systematis reproductonis hominum crescendis magni momenti est, plerumque in testibus et prostata, ac proprietatibus sexualibus secundariis prodest, inter quas massa musculorum ossiumque, et in capillis corporis crescendis, et praeterea in psychologicis marium proprietatibus auctis, sicut incursione?, libidine, studio sociorum commovendorum, moribus amoris.[3]

Biochemia testosteronis ad biosynthesin, interactionem in sanguine cum globulino hormonibus sexualibus liganti, velut intra cellulam ad interactionem cum nuclearibus androgenii receptoriis.
