Lexington will turn 250 years old in 2025, and Saving Stories will celebrate the milestone by featuring a number of familiar voices from our community. The first episode in our retrospective draws on a 1996 interview with Isabel Yates, the first woman to serve as Lexington's Vice Mayor.

UK Libraries Accepting Applications for Claude Sullivan Research Fellowship, Nov. 1 to Jan. 13

Researchers hoping to visit UK Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center next year may be eligible for fellowship funds to cover their domestic travel expenses. The Claude Sullivan Research Fellowship is open to researchers whose work would benefit from onsite access to archival materials housed in UK Libraries’ collections, including the Big Blue Sports Archive and materials on the legendary sportscaster Claude Sullivan.

Join UK Libraries' Open Educational Resources (OER) Grant Program Advisory Board!

The OER Grant Program Advisory Board is accepting applications from UK faculty and staff now through Nov. 3. Advisory Board members serve two year terms and are responsible for the grant selection process and for guiding future directions of the program.
