On January 1, 2025, Rhea Ballard-Thrower, dean of libraries and university librarian at the University of Illinois Chicago, will begin a one-year term as president of ARL.

UIC Library receives second grant to support student success

The University of Illinois Chicago Library has received a second National Leadership Grant for more than $245,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to train librarians across the U.S. for a student-success assessment project.
