For ease of support, you can access the L&S Advising Office's front desk services virtually. The Virtual Front Desk is run by L&S Intake Advising staff and Peer Advisers. This service is for quick questions (5-10 minute sessions).
Topics you can get help with:
- Clarification on L&S College policies and procedures
- Help choosing petitions and forms (and guidance in submission)
- Support navigating which campus office to contact with questions
- Guidance in whether to make an L&S College Advising appointment or to use a different resource
How can Virtual Drop-In Wednesdays help?
Virtual Drop-in Wednesdays is run by L&S Peer Advisers and College Advisers. This service is for quick or urgent questions (10-15 minute sessions). Please note that this is only offered as a virtual service.
Virtual Drop-in Wednesdays are available every Wednesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during fall and spring semesters. During "Peak Period" times at the beginning of each semester, and during the registration periods for upcoming semesters, Virtual Drop-in Wednesday services are also available on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please refer to the calendar below to confirm the Virtual Drop-in Wednesday hours.
