The study employed a single case study on how students can manage stress in learning institutions. The author employed content analysis. Content analysis refers to a tool of research used to determine the presence of certain themes, words, or concepts within some given text. The outcome of the study identified the interviewee had felt overwhelmed, defeated, restlessness, worried and anxious. It also emerged that the respondent identified examinations, workload, bills, illness, and loneliness as causes of stress at school. The study outcomes are consistent with reviewed literature on stress amongst learners. Stress amongst learners manifests as feelings of restlessness, overwhelmed, anxious and worried.

While it is assumed that there is minimal racism and inequality in Mexico, it is evident that race and ethnicity influence the way that people are viewed in the country. Dark skin Mexicans faces significant discrimination and disparities. Compared to white skin Mexicans, dark skin Mexicans have the lowest school completion rates as well as the last years of school completion compared to white skin Mexicans (Villarreal 779). The disadvantaged position of dark skin Mexicans can be traced to colonial policies that stratified the Mexican society along with skin color. Dark skin Mexicans were disenfranchised from gaining education and wealth. Post-colonial Mexico embraced education and wealth as the determinants of social hierarchy but failed to address the effects of colonial policies on dark skin Mexicans (Campos-Vazquez, Raymundo and Eduardo 324). However, the issues can be addressed by revamping discrimination and inclusion policies.

Using Cooper's color coding and SA models will enable police to develop better SA. The study had limitations as it was secondary research and lacks the updated perspectives of participants. Future studies should conduct a qualitative study focusing on different races in the police departments and how they develop and process SA for similar situations.
