Igniting Curiosity in All of Us
Thanks to our supporters, PacSci brought science to life for students, families, and curious community members this year.
Together, we filled the past year with discovery and exploration for learners of all ages under the arches and across Washington.
2023–2024 Year in Review
Thousands of guests ignited their curiosity at classic PacSci exhibits, such as the Tropical Butterfly House, as well as four new and enhanced experiences: Adventures in Sound, Tropical Odyssey, Water’s Extreme Journey, and our expanding Tinker Tank makerspace.

Curiosity online, in the classroom, & Across Washington state
Our donor community helped us offer educational programs at low- or no-cost to low-income schools, which comprised 60% of our partner schools this year.
And the impact of our work was noticed by leaders across the state. Amazon Future Engineer has been a key partner in getting PacSci back in schools and continues to lead with their support as PacSci expands programming.
The State of Washington has made a $1.5M investment in PacSci’s public education programs in the next biennium—a big step toward our goal to serve every low-income K–8 school in Washington with interactive STEM programs for free each year.
students got curious with PacSci’s Science on Wheels, field trips, and Digital Discovery Workshops
from low-income schools across Washington and received free programs.
Camps for Curious Minds
Thanks to donor support, we expanded our camps to a sixth location in the Othello neighborhood in South East Seattle.
From launching rockets, to engineering duct tape boats, to coding animal creations to life, PacSci’s Camps for Curious Minds got even bigger and better this summer.
