About – Tucson Math Circle

About Tucson Math Circle

Tucson Math Circle provides free weekly math problem-solving sessions.
Math Circle is a national organization aimed at bringing high-level mathematics education to K-12 students.

The “senior” program is for local middle and high school students who are motivated in mathematics. In past weeks, sessions have included Catalan Numbers, Induction, Game Theory, and Planar Geometry. We present topics that are accessible, with plenty of depth for advanced students to explore.

We, the instructors, are current University of Arizona PhD students in the mathematical sciences. We hope that you come check out our program, interface with working mathematicians, and learn some new math!
