Using a descriptive survey method, data were collected from undergraduate students in the Purulia district of West Bengal, employing the Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability Scale (Choi and Feinberg, 2021). Pearson correlation, mean, and standard deviation were used for analysis by using SPSS Software version 26. The result revealed significant correlations between LOHAS and its dimensions for male, female, arts, and rural students. However, weaker relationships were found for science and urban students, indicating partial acceptance of the null hypothesis for this groups. Overall, the study concludes that LOHAS and healthconsciousness dimensions are highly interconnected in certain undergraduate groups but less so in others.

The research utilized a descriptive survey method, sampling 149 undergraduate students randomly from Purulia district, West Bengal, India. The “Environmental Attitude Scale” by Uzun et al. (2019) was administered to gather data. Statistical analyses including descriptive statistics, t-test, and Mahalanobis Distance (MD) were conducted using SPSS version 26.0 and MATLAB R2021B. The findings revealed no significant disparities
between arts and science students or between male and female students across the measured variables. The Mahalanobis Distance (MD) analysis confirmed the acceptance of null hypotheses, suggesting comparable dynamics between the groups. Overall, the study concludes that the investigated groups exhibit minimal to no discernible differences across the environmental dimensions studied, supporting the notion of their comparability.

Employing a descriptive survey approach, information was gathered from 513 participants through the Positive Mental Health scale (PMH). Both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, including t-tests, were utilized for the analysis. The outcomes unveiled no noteworthy distinctions in positive mental well-being between male and female, students of teachers training institution and other students or between those residing in rural and urban areas within Purulia district. These findings highlight a consistent level of positive mental health across genders, institution and residential backgrounds, emphasizing the necessity for comprehensive mental health initiatives within educational environments.

The research aims to compare the differences in these correlations between the two groups and formulates a series of hypotheses to test these differences. The study employs a Descriptive Survey method with a sample of 151 undergraduate students from the Purulia district of West Bengal, selected through random sampling. Data is collected using Choi and Feinberg's 'Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability Scale', and the coefficient of correlation is calculated for various pairs of variables. The study also evaluates the difference in correlation between dichotomous variables like stream (artsscience). The major findings indicate that arts and science undergraduate students exhibit remarkably similar correlations between LOHAS and health-related variables. These correlations remain consistent and do not significantly differ between the two groups. The relationships between health-related variables, such as physical fitness, mental health, emotional health, spiritual health, environmentalism, and social consciousness, also show comparability for both arts and science students. This suggests that there are no substantial distinctions in how these aspects of well-being and sustainability are perceived or interrelated among the two student populations.

The present study aims to compare Formative and Summative evaluation of Bengali, English and Sanskrit subjects and taking together as branch for different groups of secondary school students. The study has been conducted through descriptive survey method. All the secondary level school students of West Bengal have been considered as the population for the present study and data for the study has been collected randomly from 200 secondary level school students of West Bengal. The collected data has been analysed applying correlation coefficient. The result revealed that significant difference is there between coefficient of correlation of Boys and Girls secondary school students of Formative and Summative evaluation of Bengali and English subject. It also revealed significant difference between coefficient of correlation of Girls and CoEducational secondary school students of Formative and Summative evaluation of English subject.

A descriptive survey method was employed, with 513 students from Purulia district, West Bengal, randomly sampled. The "Positive Mental Health Scale" by Lukat et al. (2016) was used to collect data. Correlation coefficients were calculated using the Product Moment Method, and a Two-Step Clustering technique categorized the sample into distinct clusters. Results indicated variations in cluster size and predictors, with Gender, Residence, and Total (PMH) identified as significant contributors to cluster formation. Notably, as the number of clusters increased, predictor significance shifted, emphasizing their role in cluster formation. Overall, this study successfully established correlations between PMH and its items, highlighting intricate inter-dimension relationships and the influence of specific factors on PMH clusters.

This method uncovers a multitude of distinctive clusters, with the geographical location of these undergraduates playing a pivotal role in shaping these groupings. Our investigation extends to evaluating the influence of various predictors on the formation of these clusters, revealing unique relationships between each cluster and the predictors examined. Notably, our findings illuminate that as the number of clusters increases, so does the complexity of predictor variables. Furthermore, we unearth a compelling revelation-that Location emerges as the paramount predictor, with differing perspectives on Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability conspicuously correlated with the geographic origens of these undergraduate students.

Main objectives of this study is to determine the change in achievement in different subjects like Bengali, English, and Sanskrit of secondary level student's west Bengal board of secondary Education. It is a Descriptive survey type research. Data for the present study have been accumulated from 200 secondary level school of West Bengal, India using Stratified Random sampling technique. An efficient metric for assessing the dynamical nature of a group of variables is the Mahalanobis distance. Difference dimension of achievement in language (Bengali, English and Sanskrit) are compared taking Gander and institution of various area, as independent variables applying Mahalanobis distance. The result shows that there is no significant difference in dynamical nature of the dichotomous groups when six dependent variables i.e., Bengali Formative, English Formative, Sanskrit Formative, Bengali summative, English Summative, Sanskrit Summative collected as a branch.
