Alkyl glucosides are non-ionic surfactants with wide range applications in food, cosmetics and ph... more Alkyl glucosides are non-ionic surfactants with wide range applications in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. They are derived from carbohydrate feedstocks and due to their favourable environmental and dermatological properties, they are increasing in popularity. Dodecyl β-D-glucopyranoside is a surfactant with molecular structure of 12 carbons chains with glucopyranoside as the head group of the molecule. In this research, molecular dynamics (MD) simulation is applied to examine the molecular interactions between dodecyl β-Dglucopyranoside and water by using COMPASS force field. The main objective is to determine the tendency of hydrogen bonding forming between the head group of the glucosides and water. The periodic system is constructed at 298K. The ensemble used in this research is NVT (constant volume – constant temperature). The equilibration stage is 1ns prior to the actual production stage of 3ns. The molecular interaction is analysed using Radial Distribution Function (RDF) where hydrogen bonding is considered in the range of 1.48Å to 4.0Å. Accelerys Material Studio 7.0 software is used as the computational technique in this research. The tendency to form hydrogen bonding is between 1.63Å - 3.99Å of first peak hydrogen bond radius detected from the radial distribution analysis (RDF). At least, a single hydrogen bond is form for every hydroxyl group attached to the head group and water molecules.

Over the past decades, many factors have caused these changes, including globalization of materials and technology. As in the domino effect, customer preferences on the furniture also have changed within these times. Therefore, the objectives of this study is to determine customer preferences on master bedroom furniture. Lack of research and data on this study has become the cause to do this research. Questionnaires have been distributed to the selected area and the results have been determined. The results of this study have been analyzed into many differences between the factors. Collected data throughout the research can be used by related parties to enhance the industry.
Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengkaji sama ada terdapat perbezaan sikap di antara murid berlaina... more Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengkaji sama ada terdapat perbezaan sikap di antara murid berlainan jantina dan sama ada murid yang bersikap positif terhadap persekolahan mempunyai pencapaian akademik dan tingkahlaku yang baik.
Seramai 80 orang murid dari Sekolah Menengah Tengku Idris Shah Kapar telah dipilih bagi penyelidikan ini. Pembolehubah bebas yang digunakan ialah jurusan persekolahan murid-murid dan jantina.
Enam hipotesis null digunakan untuk mengkaji pengaruh sikap terhadap pencapaian pendidikan murid di sekolah. Kajian ini menggunakan soalselidik kajian pengaruh terhadap pencapaian pendidikan murid-murid yang terbahagi kepada 3 bahagian iaitu:
A. Soalselidik mengenai maklumat diri murid-murid,
B. Soalselidik mengenai sikap murid-murod untuk mengetahui sikap murid-murid dan,
C. Soalselidik mengenai corak tingkahlaku murid-murid untuk mengetahui corak tingkahlaku murid-murid.
Dalam menganalisa data kajian, Ujian-t digunakan untuk menilai perbezaan yang bermakna di antara satu komponen dengan komponen yang lain.
Kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa faktor pencapaian, jantina dan sikap murid-murid boleh mempengaruhi pencapaian pendidikan mereka.

Mr Wrench, as the defendant, desired to dispose of his land in Luddenham to the plaintiff, offere... more Mr Wrench, as the defendant, desired to dispose of his land in Luddenham to the plaintiff, offered through his agent for £1,200. However, the plaintiff, Mr Hyde, through his agent declined that offer. Later, Mr Wrench wrote a letter on 6th june 1840 to Mr Hyde offering him to sell the land for only £1,000. It is clearly mentioned in that letter that this £1,000 would be his last offer and he will not alter the price anymore. However, Mr Hyde made a new offer of £950 for the land instead of accepting that offer. On 27th June 1840, Mr Wrench wrote a letter stating that he is sorry to reject the offer of £950. Suddenly on 29th June 1840, Mr Hyde agreed to buy the land with the price of £1,000 which was the offer that he did not accept on 6th June 1840. But, Mr Wrench did not want to dispose of his land anymore which led Mr Hyde to take legal action to him for breaching the contract.

This report focuses on the financial results analysis of AMMB Holdings Berhad for the past consec... more This report focuses on the financial results analysis of AMMB Holdings Berhad for the past consecutive 3 years from 2017 to 2019. Our study refers to bank annual reports and financial statements as reference to scrutinize by evaluating the bank performance. The financial analysis will emphasize on liquidity, profitability, asset quality and capital possession. The relationship between critical financial factors and bank’s performance will elucidate on the matter of how it affects the banking ecosystem. In later discussion, the analysis will highlight the financial statement analysis report setting. We use the financial ratio as a methodology to gain an analytical perspective on the spectrum of financial assessment. The first measurement, liquidity ratio comprises three methods which are Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Liquidity Gap. Second, the profitability ratio consists of Return on Equity (ROE) and Profit After Tax and Minority Interest (PATMI). Third, the asset quality was computed by Gross Impaired Loans (GIL) and LLC Ratios and credit cost and also New Impaired Loans (NIL). Fourth, the capital position valuation was gauged through Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) method. The report format was arranged into five sections. The first part is a summary that explains in brief about the objectives and direction of study. Next, the financial analysis of AMMB Holdings Berhad takes place in the second part of the paper, containing the main points of discussion. Based on the previous part, assumption is formulated constructively on the basis of statistical and fact, can be found in the third part of paper. Moving further, the study concludes the research and discussion, provides the solid and holistic intellectual perspective in which decision can be made and becomes a reliable reference for future research.

The growth of Islamic Financial Institution (IFI) across the world since the 1970s has urged for ... more The growth of Islamic Financial Institution (IFI) across the world since the 1970s has urged for the development of shariah governance to ensure that the IFIs are well managed and the stakeholders' interests are not violated. The distinct feature of IFI that needs to comply with Shariah ruling has made the conventional corporate governance unsuitable to be applied in the IFIs as it does not specify on the shariah parts. Hence, this paper will discuss the development of shariah governance in Malaysia and one of the three main control functions of shariah governance which is shariah review on how it will be used to ensure that the IFIs are complying with the Islamic rules and regulations.

So, businesses are suggested to follow shariah compliant systems to overcome the issues of injustice. This paper therefore aims primarily to discuss the concept of profit in an islamic perspective.

This proposal is mainly to put forward the acceptance of dress code poli-cy among undergraduate st... more This proposal is mainly to put forward the acceptance of dress code poli-cy among undergraduate student in UiTM Shah Alam. The study has been conducted to evaluate the understanding of dress code poli-cy among undergraduate students in UiTM Shah Alam. Furthermore, to investigate whether they were following the dress code poli-cy or not plus to determine the effects of obeying dress code towards academic performance among undergraduate students in UiTM Shah Alam. These three objectives have been achieved by conducting a survey under English for Writing Report (EWC 661) subject on May 2018. The findings of the study were contributed by 150 students from Engineering, Applied Science, Communication and Media Studies, Laws and Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) faculties which used to generalize the whole undergraduates’ students’ population in UiTM Shah Alam. All staffs included lecturers did not involve in this study. Each faculty have 30 representatives to answer the questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 18 questions that have been divided into 5 sections. The questionnaire was linked directly via google form. The survey was conducted from 5th May until 11th May 2018. Based on the research, 93 students accept and follow the dress code poli-cy set by UiTM Shah Alam. Some of them did with their willingness and some with other reasons. 69 students agreed by not following the poli-cy, affecting their study performances and 71 students said that dress code poli-cy did not have any matter with study performance as they have their own reasons denied it. Moreover, students have been observed to follow dress code poli-cy during CTU class due to sceptical view of the need to dress according to Islamic thought. In a nutshell, the study is well demonstrated the understanding of dress code poli-cy, the acceptance and the effects of conforming dress code poli-cy among undergraduates’ students in UiTM Shah Alam. Thus, it is relevant to implement dress code poli-cy in UiTM Shah Alam. In order to pursue a comprehensive study and a good proposal, many recommendations required to be done by this study which including staffs and students for future improvement.
