In order to ensure accuracy of motorized linear translation stages theoretical and experimental investigations were performed, that allow to establish moving platform vibration level depending of operating modes (different velocities) and used lubricant in the system. Lubricants had different viscosity, which has effect to the system moving smoothness, sound level and vibration level of the stage. Such work gives possibility to done conclusions: with what lubricant or with what viscosity of the lubricant motorized linear translation stage works smoother, with less noise and vib-ration level, and also show best movement characteristics.

In todays' business world, global companies have many suppliers and customers from all around the world which reveal difficulties to manage their supply chain and logistics systems. The main point to be successful on business relationships is to focus on external information flow through business partners which is effective and fast communication method to have strong and reliable business cooperation and relationship while preparing customers' needs faster and on time without any defect. This article aims to discover external information and data flow of companies which are part of European Automotive industry by Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems in supply chain and logistics processes. More precisely, the research focuses on tasks which are completed manually and automatically in supply chain and logistics processes. In addition, this article presents information and data flow model by ERP systems during supply chain and logistics activities for medium and big size automotive companies which will improve their business processes and communication way faster, professional, digital and more efficient with reduced human fault. To get an overview, interviews and the questionnaire have been made and analyzed to present the current situation as an empirical base for this study.

In today's international business dynamic, customer-centric supply chain management which is the combination of active supply chain entities and supportive interaction systems in organizations is a critical strategic initiative to create competitive values in a global environment. Although the customer-centric supply chain concept is new to the many businesses, they have started to differentiate this concept from others and understand its fundamentals. The main point to be successful in this strategy is to focus on understanding the expectations of customers, developing accurate forecasts and demand planning, increasing information flow throughout the entire supply chain as well as the total quality and efficiency of the chain. This research explores the building blocks of becoming a customer-centric supply chain and its characteristics, strategies that increase the competitiveness in the chain, and the possible results of the implementation of customer-centric supply chain strategies in organizations.
