Multi-SIM gives you the flexibility to have one mobile number active on up to five SIM cards, in five separate devices all at the same time. Now you can use voice allowance on the Primary Sim only and share your data across all of your mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, internet keys or Mi-Fi routers. Multi-SIM is available for postpaid customers at a cost of AED 25 (+ 5% VAT) per month for each additional SIM.

1. What are the new benefits of Multi-SIM?
  
  Having up to five SIM cards on the same mobile number allows you to share data services across all of your mobile devices. You can only use data across all SIMs; voice allowance and SMS feature will be limited to the primary SIM only.
  
  For example, you can use the voice allowance and data on the primary SIM while continuing to use data to email or SMS on your other mobile devices.
  
  If you are using eSIM as your secondary SIM, you can only use your data allowance with your eSIM except for Apple watch. Voice allowance will be limited to the primary e-SIM or SIM only.
  
  Consumer Plans allowances are strictly Intended for own personal use only and must not be shared with or used by any other person. You will not resell or allow any third party to use the service for remuneration or otherwise commercially exploit the service. Usage will be monitored, and we reserve the rights to disconnect the line without any notification, in the case of activity that is not consistent with these requirements.
2. What are the changes to my eSIM?
  
  Our e-sim customers can continue enjoying data across all e-SIMs or SIMs. Voice allowance will be limited to the primary e-SIM or SIM only except for Apple watch.
3. Who can use the Multi-SIM service?
  
  All new and existing Postpaid rate plan customers are eligible to use the Multi-SIM service, except for customers with selected Power Plans that have non-stop national data or unlimited national data.
  Customers on Postpaid mobile plans with non-stop national data or unlimited national data cannot use the Multi-SIM as their physical SIM or eSIM, except for eSIM-enabled Apple wearables (see below).
  Customers on all other plans can use the Multi-SIM as a physical SIM or eSIM, but only for data services on secondary SIMs (no voice service available).
  For all plans, if a customer is using a secondary SIM with Apple wearables, the Multi-SIM is available as an eSIM with both voice and data services active on the secondary SIMs.
  Note: Multi-SIM is not available on Prepaid plans.
4. What is the cost of Multi-SIM?
  
  Each additional SIM cost AED 20 (+ 5% VAT) and monthly fees AED 25/month (+ 5% VAT) for each additional SIM aside from your main SIM.
  
  E.g. If you subscribe to two Multi-SIMs on your Power Plan 200, you’ll be paying AED 200 for your Power plus AED 25 ( 5% VAT) for Multi-SIM 1 and AED 25 ( 5% VAT) for Multi-SIM 2, which comes to a total of AED 250 per month for your 3 devices.
5. How many primary SIMs can be assigned at any one time?
  
  You can only have one primary SIM assigned at any one time.
6. Is it possible to receive voice calls only on one particular Multi SIM?
  
  Yes, only the primary SIM will receive incoming call ring notification. Parallel ringing is disabled.
7. Can I deactivate the Multi-SIM service on one of the SIMs?
  
  Yes, you can deactivate the service on any of the SIMs by visiting your nearest du store.
8. What happens if I lose one of my SIMs?
  
  If you lose any of your SIMs, you’ll have to replace all SIMs. Each sim will cost AED 20 (+5% VAT).
9. What is the SIM swap fee?
  
  The Multi-SIM swap fee is AED 20 (+5% VAT) for each SIM.
10. I am an existing Multi-SIM customer with 2 SIMs and wish to add an additional SIM, what will it cost?
  
  Each additional SIM cost AED 20 (+ 5% VAT ); and pay an additional fees of AED 25 (+ 5% VAT) per month for each additional SIM.
1. I would like to switch my postpaid plan to a prepaid plan. Will the Multi-SIM service still be available on my prepaid plan?
  
  No, Multi-SIM service is only available with postpaid plans.
2. How many bills will I receive for Multi-SIM? Can I have a customized bill split by SIM?
  
  You’ll only receive a single bill per phone number. However, the bill will show customized usage for each SIM card.
3. When I am on another call, can I still recieve an incoming call on another SIM?
  
  No, the caller will hear a busy tone, ( if the primary SIM doesn't have call waiting service active) or will get a call waiting message ( if the primary SIM has call waiting service active).
4. Can I share my data and voice allowance across my SIMs?
  
  Only the data allowance can be shared. The voice allowance will only be available on the primary SIM.

5. Can I set up call forwarding from any of the SIMs?
  
  The voice allowance will only be available on the primary SIM.
6. How do I monitor my data usage with Multi-SIM?
  
  You can monitor the data usage of your account by sending an SMS with the keyword ‘rewards’ to 1233 from any of the SIMs. The SMS notification will be sent to your primary SIM only, and will show the usage status for the mobile number across all devices (it will not be split by SIM or device used).
7. Can I roam with Multi-SIM?
  
  Yes, you can use Multi-SIM while abroad as long as you have an active roaming subscription. For more details on roaming subscriptions, click here.
8. When roaming, can I use all of my SIMs?
  
  Yes, you can use all of your SIMs while roaming and they can all be on the same or different networks simultaneously. Please note that only roaming data will be shared across all SIMs excluding voice allowance. In some cases, you may need to manually prompt the secondary SIMs to connect to the network by doing a network search on your device.
  If you're using an Apple watch, you can't use roaming data with it.
9. When roaming, can I use the command *141*1# and/*141# and/or *141*2#?
  
  No.
10. How can I change the primary SIM?
  
  You will not be able to change your Primary SIM. If you are a new subscriber to Multi-SIM service, your primary SIM will be the current SIM card being used for your Postpaid plan.
11. Is it possible to use some SIMs in the UAE and others in other countries at the same time?
  
  The calls will only be received on the primary SIM. Calls/SMS received and made within the UAE will be treated as local calls while calls/SMS received and made while roaming will be treated as roaming calls.
12. What if I already have a Multi-SIM?
  
  If you are an existing multi-sim user you can continue to share data across all the multi-sims.
