The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX is charged with the University’s compliance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972. Sexual harassment and sexual assault are forms of sex discrimination that are prohibited by Title IX and may include off campus conduct of such nature. The Title IX Coordinator has ultimate oversight responsibility for the University’s Title IX Program and Title IX inquiries and complaints. Working collaboratively with University resources, the Title IX Coordinator identifies and addresses any patterns or systemic problems that may arise during the review of such inquiries or complaints. The Title IX Coordinator also responds to Title IX, Title VI and Title VII inquiries and complaints, as well as provides training, and conducts investigations. Any questions regarding the application of Title IX may be referred to the Title IX Coordinator.

Veterans Statement
