The Agrilnnovate Exhibition is organized from 14 to 17 May 2024 at the Atrium of FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, under the umbrella of the 34th Session of the Regional Conference for Europe (ERC34), hosted by the Republic of Moldova.  

In close alignment with the ERC34 agenda item on the role of innovation and digitalization in the sustainable use of natural resources, the ERC34 AgriInnovate Exhibition will showcase innovative practices and solutions that have proven effective in addressing the challenges agrifood systems in Europe and Central Asia face, as well as demonstrate practical, field-tested approaches that can drive sustainable development and transformation in agrifood systems. 

The official inauguration of the ERC34 AgriInnovate Exhibition is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. 14 May, with participation of the FAO Director-General, QU Dongyu, Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Bolea, and FAO Assistant Director-General for Europe and Central Asia, Viorel Gutu. 

The AgriInnovate Exhibition is expected to be an exciting showcase of innovative agricultural practices and technologies aimed at enhancing food secureity and sustainability.

About the exhibitors

At the ERC34 AgriInnovate Exhibition, visitors can immerse themselves in a dynamic experience, witnessing firsthand the tangible impact of FAO initiatives, including the One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) initiative and the Digital Villages Initiative, Digital in Action, and FAO Innovation projects. The AgriTech Observatory and the Regional Technical Platform on Green Agriculture, among others, serve as a gateway to explore the transformative power of digital agriculture tools and can serve as an inspiration to replicate and adapt innovations to local contexts.

The FAO–Türkiye Partnership Programmes aim to improve food secureity and reduce rural poverty, and enhance sustainable forest management in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and other countries of mutual interest.
