The Country Programming Framework (CPF) sets out four government priority areas to guide FAO partnership and support with the Government of Sierra Leone – bringing together innovative international best practices and global standards with national and regional expertise during four years from 2016 to 2019.

Within this CPF FAO Sierra Leone will align its programmes and projects to the three regional priority areas that were identified and agreed upon during the 28th FAO’s Regional Conference for Africa.

With extreme changes in temperature, the impact of climate change on our planet and on our lives can’t go unnoticed. World hunger is on the rise and the leading causes are: climate variability and extremes. Unpredictable and harsh conditions are making it harder to produce the food we need for a growing population but we are still in time to act! We need to tackle climate change so everyone, everywhere can have access to enough nutritious and safe food. This is where every individual has the power to make a difference. Read more
