GLOBE Impact and Metrics
GLOBE Impact and Metrics
Since the start of the GLOBE Program, tens of thousands of educators from more than 125 countries have been trained in GLOBE's protocols. These educators have guided over 800,000 GLOBE students through the scientific process, and, along with contributions from citizen scientists using the GLOBE Observer app, has resulted in more than 250 million data measurements submitted to GLOBE's databases.
The data on this page offers the opportunity to look at GLOBE members’ impact and activities, including how many schools and students are participating in GLOBE and how many projects they have completed.
In addition to the data in the table below, GLOBE also has historic impact measurements from 2003 to 2013. These archival measurements represent GLOBE statistics prior to the use of the current database, and therefore different measurements are used.
Note: The data below are updated monthly.
