Teen Tech equips blind and low vision students with essential technology skills for academic and career success. Through comprehensive instruction and hands-on experience, we guide students toward proficiency in both assistive technologies and mainstream software applications, preparing them to confidently pursue higher education and unlock meaningful employment opportunities.

Curriculum Highlights
In our Teen Tech Program, students develop strong skills in essential software applications and assistive technologies. Our curriculum covers:
- Assistive software (Fusion, JAWS, and ZoomText)
- Microsoft Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Internet browsing (Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge)
Personalized Guidance
What sets our program apart is the personalized guidance we offer. With small class sizes, we ensure individualized attention and support for each student. This approach allows us to empower independence, helping students explore their strengths, interests, and career goals.
Program Structure
- Three modules, each comprising 28 hours of instruction
- Virtual classes via Zoom platform
- Two-hour sessions twice a week after regular school hours
- Loaner computer provided for use while enrolled in the program
