AALL has developed an on-line Job Hotline (database) for law graduates interested in careers as law librarians. The AALL website also contains information on the educational requirements necessary for a career as a law librarian.

The AALS serves as a conduit between law schools and candidates seeking positions in law schools: it provides candidate information to law schools and notifies candidates of law school position openings. In addition, the Association sponsors an annual two-day Faculty Recruitment Conference at which the law schools can interview candidates.
