An appointment in the competitive service that provides students with opportunities to explore NASA careers and gain meaningful developmental work experience.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Post-Secondary Student appointment, you must:
- Be a student enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an institution of higher education (as defined in 20 U.S.C. Sec 1001(a))
- Be pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree on at least part-time basis as determined by the academic institution
- Be able to complete at least 640 hours of work prior to completing your degree requirements
- Meet the minimum qualification standards specified on the vacancy announcement (Be sure to read each announcement in its entirety to understand specific qualification requirements.)
