DOPE 2024+
The University of Kentucky Political Ecology Working Group invites you to participate in the Thirteenth Annual Dimensions of Political Ecology Conference (DOPE), to be held from Thursday, February 22nd to Sunday, February 24th, 2024 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
Community of Practice Method/ologies Lab
Introducing the Community of Practice Method/ologies Lab! We’re a group of young scholars working in/with political ecology, seeking to build community across geographic space and beyond disciplines. How to ensure knowledge is co-created and scholarship non-extractive? How to think of methodology as an ongoing, collaborative process? How does methodology become more mercurial in its very nature, unfixed in space and time?
DopeReads

Since its inception in 2010, this student-organized conference has become one of the largest, most highly regarded international forums for critical discussions at the intersection of ecology, political economy, and science studies. The DOPE Conference has offered a platform for both established and emerging scholars, featuring invited speakers such as Paul Robbins, Sandra Harding, Rebecca Lave, Erik Swyngedouw, Vandana Shiva, Julie Guthman, Laura Pulido, Kim TallBear, Ashanté Reese, and Malini Ranganathan.
