Sensory Kits
VisitLEX recently collaborated with the Autism Society of the Bluegrass to introduce new sensory kits that feature 5 items—all designed to assist visitors with various sensory needs. These kits are free, yours to keep, and now available in the Lexington Visitors Center!
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
Not every disability is visible. These Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Partners are trained to support you when you wear the sunflower—whether your disability is visible or not.
Impaired Mobility
These LEX for Good Accessibility Partners have provided accommodations—accessible entrances, pathways and public spaces—for visitors with impaired mobility.
Impaired Hearing
These LEX for Good Accessibility Partners have provided accommodations—such as vibrating alarm clocks, flashing alarms, ASL interpreters, and scripts for their tours—for visitors with impaired hearing.
Impaired Vision
These Lex for Good Accessibility Partners have provided accommodations—such as large-print menus, flashlights, and magnifying glasses—for visitors with impaired vision.
Autistic & Neurodivergent
