All outreach events, school visits/talks, and office tours are staffing and weather dependent, and NWS Portland cannot guarantee we can accommodate every request. We will look at each request and respond within two weeks. All scheduled events are subject to last-minute cancellation depending on the weather that day and our operational needs. We will make every effort to let you know a few days ahead of time that this is a factor, but sometimes the cancellation could be the day of the scheduled event.
