OFFICE TOURS

NWS Seattle welcomes visitors to our office and we look forward to hosting your group’s visit. Our office can be a very busy operational setting, so we have established some guidelines for tours to our office. This will allow us to devote staffing and resources to making sure you have the best visit possible - all of while ensuring our important operational mission can continue!

  • Tours are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week.
  • Tours are conducted between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM. The typical tour will last 30-45 minutes.
  • Tour groups are limited to 20 participants total.
  • There is a minimum age requirement of 3rd grade for students.
  • Tours are subject to last-minute cancellation depending on the weather that day and our operational needs. We will make every effort to let you know a few days ahead of time that this is a factor, but sometimes the cancellation could be the day of the scheduled tour.
  • Tours will only be conducted during times when the King County - CDC COVID Community Transmission level is “Low”. This is updated weekly on Thursdays - and tours may be postponed based on this information.
  • Please do not schedule your tour more than 4-6 months in advance. Due to the busy nature of our schedules and high impact weather, your request for a tour may be forgotten. We want to make sure your request is scheduled when we have a better sense of schedules and prior obligations.
