Rooted in Earth system science, our education programs and resources help build the nation’s workforce capabilities across the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and beyond.

UCAR partners with NCAR to develop a range of programs that translate NCAR science into STEM education experiences for learners “from K to gray.” At the start, these offerings help spark a love of science in young children and encourage future scientists and engineers from diverse backgrounds to pursue and succeed in professional careers. Further along, our training helps hone the knowledge and skills of professionals, from forecasters to firefighters to faculty keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in our field.
