West Michigan is not just one place, but many.  Each equally diverse and incredibly beautiful.  People who visit here for the first time  are often heard to say, “I had NO idea Michigan was so amazing!”  Well, those of us who are blessed to live here have always known that, and even though we’ve often thought about keeping it our little secret, we know that would hardly be fair. And don’t even think about tackling it all in one fell swoop. Consider this little fact - from our shared border with Indiana, to the very tip of the Upper Peninsula in Copper Harbor, it would take you 9 hours to traverse those 517 miles.  And that’s without any stops along the way, which of course, you will want to do often. One thing is certain though, you can always choose the water! The entire West Michigan coast is bordered by Lake Michigan, so just about anywhere you go, you can find a spot for great sunsets, sandy beaches, boating, fishing, hiking, and so much more!
