(SSL) is located at 7 Gauss Way, Berkeley, CA 94720. The campus consists of three buildings: The Silver Lab (original building), the Addition (new building) and the Annex.From the San Francisco Airport, head northwest toward US-101 N, continue on US-101 N. Take 1-80 to Broadway in Oakland. Take exit 6 from CA-24E, then take Hiller Dr, Tunnel Rd and Centennial Dr to Gauss Way.
From the Oakland Airport, get on I-880 from 98th, continue on I-880 E, CA-24 and Grizzly Peak Blvd to Gauss Way.
The 7:35am Hill Line shuttle stop is at Kala Bagai Wy just south of Addison in front of the Sandwich Zone. For getting to SSL all other times, you will need to take the P (Perimeter) shuttle or the C (Central Campus) shuttle from Kala Bagai Wy just south of Addison to Evans Hall/Hearst Mining Circle and transfer to the H (Hill) shuttle to the last stop. Each trip is $1. Please note that as of February 2023, the intersections of where to catch the 7:35am H, and the P and C shuttles noted in the schedules indicate the wrong intersection.
Take the 65 AC Transit bus to the Centennial Dr & Parking Lot stop and walk up the hill through the parking lot.
