Get A Head Start on College Classes

WHAT does this mean?

Students can earn college credit at a much lower cost (or even for free) while in high school. Some high school students enter their first year of college with enough credits to be college sophomores! In Kentucky, several different programs offer students the opportunity to get college credit or earn advanced placement in college courses once they enroll.

WHY is it important?

Taking college classes in high school means students graduate from college earlier – that saves time AND money! Not only that, taking these tougher courses looks great on college applications and prepares students for college level work before they enroll, making them more likely to graduate.

HOW does it work?
