FAO Priorities in DPRK 2018-2021
FAO partnership and support with the Government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is shaped by the Country Programming Framework 2018-2021 which has been extended to 2023 and is aligned with the United Strategic Framework (UNSF) of DPRK.
Three priority areas
The CPF is centred on the following priority areas:
1. Increasing national food production and strengthening national food security by attaining self-sufficiency in food supply
2. Improving livelihoods and nutritional status of population
3. Reducing disaster risk and improving natural resources management
