Moderate to major impacts are expected across the Mid-South. Major impacts are likely across the Memphis Metro.
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the entire Mid-South. This will go into effect this evening, January 9th, at 6PM as snow begins to fall and extend through 6AM Saturday, January 11th, when snow is expected to end.
Increasing clouds with a slight chance of snow over parts of the Delta late in the day. Cold with highs in the mid 30s to lower 40s.
Snow developing. Snow may mix with sleet, freezing rain and rain across parts of north Mississippi and east-central Arkansas. Lows in the upper 20s to around 30.
Snow, heavy at times. Snow will mix with sleet, freezing rain and rain across north Mississippi and east-central Arkansas. Highs in the lower to mid 30s.
