I only just found this article about those “mad libs” style forms that I started with Huffduffer.
I somehow missed this post from last year by Karin Taliga on different ways of using Huffduffer:
- As an Instapaper but for audio
- Listen to own recordings in a podcast player
- Create a podcast feed from youtube videos
- Gather your podcast guest appearances in one place
- Share a custom curated playlist
- Share supplemental material to an online course you have
I was chatting with Rachel at work the other day about conversational forms, and I mentioned that I kicked that whole thing off with the mad libs style form on Huffduffer. Here’s the research that Luke later did on whether this style of form could increase conversion.

Merlin mentioned this service on a recent podcast episode. If you have an Amazon Echo, you can authenticate with this service and then point it at an RSS feed …like your Huffduffer feed, for example. From then on, Alexa becomes a Huffduffer player.
I love it when people explain Huffduffer better than I ever could.
Huffduffer is a free service that allows you to build a personalized audio feed. It’s kind of like a “read later” service but for audio.
Myself and Lizzie were on a local radio show, having a wide-ranging chat about technology, commenting on recent news stories. It was fun.
