A diverse and inclusive community is an integral part of the Purdue experience. Our welcoming cultural centers are safe spaces for the Purdue community to learn, find support, and celebrate our diverse heritage so that we may excel and thrive on a global scale.

  • Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center (AAARCC)
The AAARCC brings the Asian and Asian American experience to life through dynamic and culturally enriching resources based on education, integration, and support.

  • Black Cultural Center (BCC)
With cultural arts and festivals, performing arts ensembles, student research trips, and more, the BCC is an exceptional facility for the university community.

  • Latino Cultural Center (LCC)
Todos Son Bienvenidos – all are welcome at the LCC. At the LCC, you can participate in events, educational programming, and informal gatherings throughout the year.

  • Native American Educational and Cultural Center (NAECC)
The NAECC is home to Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiian students, faculty, and staff who represent more than 45 tribal nations at Purdue. The center provides educational opportunities for the community to learn about indigenous cultures.

Purdue is among the nation’s top universities for LGBTQ+ students, and the LGBTQ Center is a big reason why we have earned that recognition. The center engages the entire Purdue community with activities throughout the year while serving as a welcoming and affirming location for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. With a Campus Pride Index score of five out of five stars, find your community at Purdue.

Purdue's religious diversity is reflected in the many congregations and organizations available across the West Lafayette campus and Greater Lafayette area.

For students in Indianapolis, one of the many benefits of living in the state's capital is the close proximity to a wide-variety of religious and spiritual groups and organizations. Explore a new faith or dive deeper into your beliefs with student-led organizations on campus and even more available just a short walk or drive away.

Joining a club or organization isn't the only way to get involved on campus! The Purdue Student Union Board is the source for student entertainment at Purdue, hosting a variety of programs and services to enrich and entertain with something for everyone.

Our campus is home to a variety of spaces designed to foster student community and balance studies with a little bit of fun. Find your favorite study nook or cozy corner. Grab lunch or a cup of coffee. Take gaming to the next level or challenge friends to a friendly round of bowling. The Purdue Memorial Union is the spot for students to come together, relax, and enjoy a variety of events and activities, many hosted by our Purdue Student Union Board.

Within the heart of the West Lafayette campus, Third Street has been reimagined as a pedestrian-friendly student corridor complete with outdoor seating designed for impromptu hang outs and activities, such as playing ping pong or cards around the fire.

The Campus Center in Indianapolis is a hot spot for grabbing a bite and taking a break in between classes, or grab some fresh air and relax with friends in our expansive green space. The canal is just a few steps away and is a great spot for students to chill or take it up a notch and rent a pedal boat with friends.
