First you need to understand that the triceps have three parts: medial, lateral & long heads

Different exercises will hit different parts of the tricep.

- The traditional tricep push down (from the top position of the cables) will primarily hit the lateral head

- The overhead tricep extension will hit the long head. This exercise is key because it puts the muscle in a stretched position 

- The reverse grip tricep push down will target more of the medial head

Now the bicep has two parts: the short and long heads plus they work with the brachialis (under the biceps) and brachioradialis (think forearm muscles)

- Incline seated biceps curls will primarily hit the long head of your biceps Triceps Pushdown, Overhead Tricep, Concentration Curls, Overhead Tricep Extension, Progressive Overload, Forearm Muscles, Big Arms, Bigger Arms, Tricep Extension
