When I think back to Ruined King as a project, a majority of my memory was trying to crank out these combat backgrounds on time while also juggling lead duties. Shout out to Peet Cooper for really giving me a hand in running the schedule when I had to concentrate - this is what happens when you mentor someone 10+ years ago, you are stuck helping them forever apparently :P Special shout-out for Virginia Critchfield for the beautiful and inspiring drawings that started a lot of these combat…

A wall of statues, each nestled deep into their alcoves. There were far more than I could count. Perhaps these were a monument, to fallen scholars or great saints? Time had eroded the meaning from this place, and left us a peaceful garden in its place.
