Eros Candusso, counsellor and psychotherapist in Sydney CBD, redesigns his website using our Genteel theme

Eros Candusso is a counsellor and psychotherapist providing counselling services in Sydney in the centre of the city CBD. Eros offers personal counselling, couple counselling as well as online counselling via Skype.
In the summer of 2014 Eros decided to re-design his old Wordpress website and to promote the new website to be created. Aiming for a more professional website, which is easy to administer, it was quickly clear that Drupal would be the CMS of choice.

The aim of the re-design was to create a modern, responsive design, optimized for the whole range of devices and screen sizes. Another goal was promoting the website extensively, which meant the new website should finally be built with SEO and online marketing in mind.
Based on a responsive theme, Eros’ homepage renders greatly only all mobile devices it’s viewed on.

Based on the goals of the project and the chosen design elements, the criteria for the selection of a theme were quite clear. Beside the responsiveness and the respect for SEO and online marketing, the theme needed to incorporate a light, neutral design, which would allow to bring the chosen design elements into focus.
While choosing a proper theme as the basis is very important, Webrealizer went on to explain the need to identify a theme that would allow for easy customisation:
Furthermore, there was the need for easy customisation of the theme. Having these criterias in mind, the themes of More than Themes came instantly into focus and the Genteel theme was quickly chosen. Genteel was already a bright and quite neutral theme and it was very easy to adopt it further and to incorporate the design elements.
The re-designed website is centered around Eros’ services that can be booked online. Furthermore, the new website offers background information about the therapist and his approach, a multimedia blog with inspirations and a playground.
About the theme
Genteel is a theme those of you that want to build elegant-looking sites, for presenting products, services and showcases of those. Genteel is a great asset as not only it looks great but it’s also flexible as, in typical MtT fashion, it’s bundled with multiple font-stacks and colour schemes, equipped with all sorts of automations including Content types, Views blocks and pages as well as social media integration.
