Lightsabers I made as an assignment at university

Just finished this piece yesterday and wanted to share it, I tasked myself with doing something quick and simple for practise and to experiment with metal textures I mentioned with the Assassins creed fan art I did earlier. I've recently started fiddling with Blender and noticed I quite enjoy hard surface modeling! This is my second modeling practice and the first one I gave proper materials for and rendered. I designed the hilt myself after being inspired by the saber Cal carries in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. I'm really happy with how this turned out and I am excited to delve deeper into the world of 3D!

I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I wanted to create my own design of a lightsaber. This is one version I came up with. All aspects were done in Blender with some color grading done in Photoshop.
