Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 derives power from a 249 cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and oil cooling. Suzuki tinkered the engine to comply with BS6 emissions. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 result is 26.5 hp (as before) at 9300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque peak at 7,300 rpm, along with a 6-speed transmission. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS4 produces the same power but at 300 rpm less. It also produces 0.4 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.

The newly launched Gixxer SF 250 is powered by 249cc, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine which offers heightened performance. The advanced engine, produces 26.5ps@9000rpm and 22.6Nm@7500rpm.A six-speed manual gearbox helps provide a smooth ride even at low to middle range speed.

With a complete overhaul for 2017 and a peak of 202 horsepower, the big Gixxer is well and truly back in the pantheon of the world's greatest superbikes. But Suzuki has gone to great lengths to beef up the midrange and make this thing dominate the road like never before.
