Inspired by nature and my love of patterns, this handmade oblong platter makes a unique centrepiece to any table. A true one-off piece. Handbuilt in stoneware clay, and covered in a clear glossy glaze, this footed platter can be used to serve hot or cold food. Decorated with a dark slip and using stencils drawn by me (based on my own dog Bruno) I’ve finished the design with etched elements carved through the slip and filled some with dark underglaze for contrast.
