TMDL Public Notices Final

Following the 30-day public notice period of the draft TMDL, the division reviews all written comments received and may make revisions to the TMDL based upon public comments. The final TMDL includes the division’s written response to all written comments received during the public notice period.

The publication of final TMDLs are announced through the Water Quality Bulletin. The publication constitutes the division’s determination of the final TMDL, and no further comments are accepted. The final TMDL is submitted to EPA for approval 30 days following publication. For more information about the procedural rules associated with TMDL development, please review Regulation 21.
