The goal of the Cancer Variant Interpretation Committee (CVI-C) is to support development of granular specifications for the AMP/ASCO/CAP guidelines and ClinGen/CGC/VICC Somatic Variants Oncogenicity SOP for somatic variant interpretation and classification, and to support the ClinGen Somatic WG as it develops somatic cancer Variant Curation Expert Panels (VCEPs) and seeks FDA recognition for somatic variant interpretation and classification.
