Siem Reap: the home of Angkor Wat, a bucket list item and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What used to be a small, dusty backwater town was suddenly thrown in the limelight when Angkor Wat was restored in the early 20th century, and drove far more tourists to the site than anyone could have predicted.

This photo was taken in Ta Prohm, a temple of Angkor, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, September 2014. The photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors.
