  • Redundant/bad quality

The file was uploaded because at the time I presumed this was the original file in relation to File:Emmanuel Benner - NUS AU BOIS.jpg. My rationale was that an auction house wouldn't purposely make the painting's colors duller, so I assumed the aforementioned file was a treated image, especially since Art.Salon points to the Sotheby's page when clicking on the image, which shows a stretched version with the same dull colors. Turns out, not only is the other Wikimedia file much larger, but also coincides with the source file from Sotheby's. I made the mistake of looking at the resolution instead of the quality, and it was only recently that I understood how to find Sotheby's source files. Looking at both files setting the zoom at 200% at the bottom left corner will show how bad it is (signature, leaves).
This file is an intentionally downgraded version of File:Emmanuel Benner - NUS AU BOIS.jpg and serves no purpose whatsoever. ·muitafruita (talk) 04:14, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep not a valid deletion rationale. rather upload better version and link in other versions. --Arnoseven (talk) 21:59, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid it just isn't not valid because you say it's so. It would have been deleted through speedy deletion under the "uploader request" rationale had I discovered this sooner. The unaltered version is already on Wikimedia. ·muitafruita (talk) 11:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
