Jan Guillou (pron. /jɑːn ˌgɪˈjuː/) (born January 17, 1944) is a Swedish writer and journalist. He has written about Swedish spy Carl Hamilton.
Guillou became famous when he revealed a secret intelligence scandal in 1973 (known as the "IB affair"), for which he was put in prison for ten months. Today he is an influential independent commentator of current events, particularly the conflicts in the Middle East and miscellaneous domestic issues.
